25 Days of Christmas – Day 23 Laguna
We are nearing the end of the 25 Days of Christmas with Simple Life Pattern Company and Art Gallery Fabrics series. I’m thrilled to show you Laguna today.
One of my favorite features of Laguna is the skirt. Choose a simple skirt or use multiple coordinating fabrics for a pieced version. I made the pieced version to showcase several gorgeous AGF prints. Chacely loves picking up rocks so I had to add the optional pockets to carry her “treasures”. The pockets are so big her baby even fit in them!
Since I used four coordinating prints for the skirt, I made sure to incorporate all four prints into the bodice as well. I used two prints for the double flutter sleeve. Then I used a sweet pink star print for the straps. A floral bodice completes the look.
I love that AGF fabrics are so versatile. These fabrics are perfect in winter but will also transition nicely into spring. The soft colors and timeless prints make these fabrics perfect for creating slow fashion pieces.
To achieve this look
AGF fabrics are Starbright Sparkler, From Within Sparkler, Chads Sparkler, and Everlasting Blooms Sparkler.
Hat, undershirt, boots, and kitten stuffie are from Target.
Socks are from Little Stocking Company.
Bracelets are from Little Babes Bracelets.

Recipe
I have another savory recipe for you today. We are preparing for several inches of snow over the next few days and I’ve made sure to buy all the ingredients I need to make this Jalapeno Popper Turkey Chili recipe. I used this recipe a few years ago for a chili cook-off at work and won first place! If you don’t like spicy foods, don’t run away just yet. You can omit the jalapenos and still have a yummy chili to eat on those cold winter days.
