It’s officially July. For some of the U.S. this means that you have one month left of summer. And then it is back to school come August.
Some of you may be sad. Sad that summer is coming to a close in the blink of an eye. Others may be like me, jumping for joy at the thought of the kids back in school.
Either way, you must be wondering: what am I going to make the kids for back to school?
Whether you are sewing for a baby going to their first year of daycare, a toddler going to pre-K, or a child going to their first, or second, (or third, etc.) year of grade school, we’ve got you covered.
The Monthly Challenge
All month long you can sew along with us while we celebrate our favorite back to school patterns. Follow along as we post inspiration from our amazingly talented team for your back to school makes. Entering The Challenge
Throughout the entire month of July, you can enter our Back to School monthly challenge by submitting your modeled photos in our Facebook fan group or Instagram using the hashtag #SLPcoChallenge
One winner will be chosen for each category:
- Best Creative Use of Pattern
- Best Matches Theme
- SLPco Team’s Choice (this can be anything based on embellishments, photography, use of pattern, eye catching, etc.)
Winners will be chosen for each category and receive a $20 store credit
