Baby Jaimesyn
I used Jaimesyn as my base and cut the bodice exactly as I would if I was doing a Jaimesyn with no mods. The only adjustment I made with the bodice is the ruffles. Instead of tapering my ruffles I made them rectangular.
When cutting my skirt pieces I measured my daughter to figure out how long to make my front and back pieces. I then used the Harmony skirt pattern pieces as a template to make the curve of my high low skirt.
Harts Fabric graciously sponsored this blog tour and supplied me with this royal blue satin and the gorgeous sparkle gold tulle I used as my lining.
I was nervous to sew with the sequin fabric but it was much easier than I thought and it gives such an elegant look!
