Here comes the fun
I am so excited to share a few pieces I made using Caroline Hulse’s newest fabric line, Here comes the fun, for Art Gallery Fabrics. I have been sewing with this collections a lot lately, but some of those looks are still a secret 😉 Don’t worry, I will be sharing those in a few weeks.
Okay, so I think my FAVORITE outfit I made with this collection is this adorable Lucy dress. My daughter Jaimesyn loves anything that I make. She only wants to wear momma made on a daily basis so I knew this dress would be perfect. I added a fun pleated pocket embellished with little pom poms to give it that little bit of whimsy. I also made her a Cheyenne’s layering top and Sarah Ann leggings to get us through the winter.
My favorite print from the whole collection is the Improv Strokes. Both colorways are just gorgeous but the citrus one has my heart. I love how this Sophie dress turned out. I made this dress for my daughter Ayda and it just fit her personality so well.
I also made this Paisley using Bloom Montage Light knit fabric. My girls love anything knit. It is so soft and comfy – practical for everyday wear and our crazy busy lives. The open back is so fun and unique too, then paired with a twirly circle skirt, it is every girls dream.
Since we are on a big knit kick lately, I wanted to make my daughter Rayann a knit top so went with the new Isla in drop waist. The “Happy” print is so darn cute. I paired the top with the Emilya’s skinny pants for a fun and funky outfit. I used the Cheyennes sleeves to add a little more frills to this adorable top. even though this has a drop waist skirt, it is still perfect for layering.
I had so much fun sewing these looks up. Fiskars was so kind to sponsor this blog tour – which was so nice as I was in desperate need of new scissors. I almost forgot how awesome it is to cut fabric with such sharp scissors. I am so excited to share more photos with you showcasing Carolines newest line in a few weeks so stay tuned!
