Megan Sewalong
Good morning SLPcoers! We have a fun week ahead of us as we sew Megan’s Wrap Top and Dress together in the SLPco Fan Group! I will break down the Megan pattern into simple steps throughout the week so that by Friday you will have a finished top or dress. Each day you can upload your progress photos in the respective albums in the SLPco Fan Group.
Without further ado, let’s get started! Your first step today is to purchase the Megan pattern if you do not already own it. Many fans have requested to know how to add sleeves to Megan. As a part of this sewalong, I will be teaching you how to add the sleeves from Brenda’s Bow Back Dress to Megan’s Wrap Top or Dress. Until tomorrow (3/8/2016) at midnight, enjoy 20% both the Megan and Brenda patterns by using the code “MeganSAL”. You will enter the code on the “View Cart” page before you check out.
Go ahead and print your pattern pieces as a part of your progress for day 1. Check the print square to make sure it measures 1″.
Now the fun part! Decide what size you will be sewing and pick out your fabrics. Here is a size chart for Megan to help you get started.
Keep in mind you will need additional fabric if you are adding Brenda’s Bow Back sleeves to your Megan top or dress.
