Hocus Pocus Project Tour With Riley Blake Designs
Hi friends!
Today is our stop on the Hocus Pocus Project Tour with Riley Blake Designs.
Hocus Pocus is full of the cutest prints for Halloween. But don’t worry, nothing too spooky here!
While I love each and every print, I was most excited when I saw that some of the prints GLOW! Yes, they glow in the dark! My kids all squealed with delight when they saw. It’s a lot harder than it looks to get a photo of glow in the dark fabric so I hope you can tell from this photo. Just trust me, it is COOL!
I chose to sew up the Clara dress for the prints that I chose. Clara features a really fun collar and V-back which I thought lent itself perfectly to the spooky prints!
I shortened the dress 2″ in order to give it a more vintage length look. My youngest daughter finds shorter dresses a little easier to play in when pairing Rosie bloomers underneath.
The prints I used are Hocus Pocus Ghosts in Black (Glow in the dark) for the skirt, Hocus Pocus Main in Cream for the bodice, and Hocus Pocus Skeletons in Black (glow in the dark) for the collar. I also decided to add some double faced satin ribbon in orange to accent the dress. We are all about bows here in our house and it just adds the sweetest touch!
Hocus Pocus is available now at your favorite local or online fabric shops!
