It is officially January 1st, and officially a brand new year.

With a new year comes the tradition of setting goals for the year ahead. Here at SLPco we love to set reSEWlutions for ourselves. When asked over in our Facebook fan group, some of the reSEWlutions that our group members had were:

Continue honing their sewing skills by learning a new skill each month

The Monthly Challenge

After a month break, our monthly challenge is back!

All month long we are featuring a select few patterns from our collection, which will be on sale through the months end. If you decide to sew along with us, you can sew up one of the featured patterns and post a modeled photo in our fan group (or on instagram) for your chance to WIN a $20 credit! (So you can grab those new patterns to stay on top of your 1 new pattern a month goal!)

Ring in the New Year Challenge

Each month we will be featuring patterns that match a specific theme. The month of January is Ring in the New Year.

This month we’d like to give you a special challenge:

Without changing the pattern, we challenge you to add special details to take a simple pattern to WOW! Including, but not limited to, embellishments like trim, lace, ricrac, pompoms, utilizing multiple fabrics, etc.

Entering The Challenge

Throughout the entire month of January, you can enter our monthly challenge by submitting your modeled photos in our Facebook fan group or Instagram using the hashtag #SLPcoChallenge

One winner will be chosen for each category:

Best Creative Use of Pattern
Best Matches Theme
SLPco Team’s Choice (this can be anything based on embellishments, photography, use of pattern, eye catching, etc.)

Winners will be chosen for each category and receive a $20 store credit
