The Simple Life Company Grows Again!
Hey Everyone! I am so excited to share some news with you! I am so happy to announce Becca Plymale as the newest member of Simple Life Pattern Company. Becca will be taking over the social media as well as doing some designing. She will be working on making some of our girl’s patterns into doll size patterns. What little girl doesn’t love and matching dolly and me outfit. I am really excited to see what she brings to SLPco. Now let’s go meet Becca…
Hey there! I’m Becca, owner, designer and creative thinker behind Sunflower Seams. I am originally from Arizona but currently residing in the Gulf Coast of Florida. I am the wife to an amazing Air Force officer and mom of two adorably silly children. When I’m not sewing, you can usually find me in the kitchen making some scrumptious goodies, in the garden, curled up with a good book or at the beach jumping waves with my kiddos!
I fell in love with fabric at a young age. Growing up my sister worked at a fabric store and I can remember walking the isles in complete fascination whenever I would visit her at work. During middle school, I took a Home Ec class where I learned to sew. I made things here and there but it wasn’t until I was pregnant with my daughter that I really found my passion for sewing. I took up sewing as a hobby while on bed rest with my daughter. I was determined to turn one of my husband’s flight suits into a diaper bag. After succeeding in making my first of many flight suit bags I realized I had a major love for sewing. I started making dresses for my daughter and there was no turning back. 
I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the Simple Life Pattern team and look forward to what this new chapter in my creative journey will bring!
