SLPco is growing…
Hey Everyone! I am so excited to share some news with you! We have been super busy working on girls patterns and I had been trying to do a few baby patterns here and there but I just can’t do everything. With that said, I am so proud and happy to announce Ashley Herrmann as the newest member of Simple Life Pattern Company. Ashley will be taking over the baby patterns from now on. I love Ashley’s style – you probably have seen many of the things she has made on social media. She has already started downsizing a few girl patterns but will also be creating new designs as well (wait until you see her dress!!!). I have always had a connection with her, chit chatting online and even though her bitty Addie doesn’t fit into the girls sizes, she has always been around supporting me and SLPco. So, for those that have itty bittys – keep an eye out for all the beautiful patterns Ashley is working on! So, lets get to it – meet Ashley Herrmann – SLPco baby designer.
Hey yall!! I am so excited to be a part of the SLP team! I am a mother of 2 and wife to my best friend. I was born and raised in Houston, TX and we recently returned to Houston after moving around the US for almost 10 years!! We have lived ALL over- Oklahoma, Arizona, Indiana, Michigan and Dallas, Tx.
Scott and I met in high school and started dating after graduation, the rest is history! We had our son, Deuce, in 2011. He is a firecracker! He never stops moving, dancing or karatechopping his sister and best of all he hands out kisses like they are candy! Addie came next in 2013. I wasn’t sure about a girl, but the moment I laid eyes on her I was smitten! She is my little partner in crime, my best friend. Addie was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis a week after she was born. Our world was forever changed. She is growing and thriving, but the life we live now is drastically different from where we began. Her diagnosis was the reason we moved back home, to be near our families.
I met Katie almost 2 years ago when I was a tester with her, then for her! I love her style, her attention to detail and her personality! I LOVE to sew and create amazing (and sometimes not as amazing as I’d hoped) things from nothing! I am in my happy place when I am sewing! I am a self taught seamstress and I have been putting my skills to the test for my boutique, Sibling Rivalry Designs. I was VERY active with my shop until this summer, when I took a step back to focus on my family and take care of Addie who was very sick.
I have followed SLP from the beginning and I am SO happy to join this amazing team! I can’t wait to learn and laugh along with yall! I am happy to help whenever and wherever I can!!
