Swim Rash Guard Using Cheyenne’s Ultimate Ruffle Shirt
I love to think outside of the box and find a new use for patterns that may not have been their original intention. Two days ago, we released Cheyenne’s Ultimate Ruffle T-shirt. Using knit and this pattern, you can create the most adorable ruffle tanks or short sleeve, long sleeve and 3/4 sleeve shirts! You can read more about Cheyenne here.
Cheyenne is the perfect shirt for children to wear to the park, layered under dresses or as a swim rash guard! That’s right! I used swimsuit fabric to make a rash guard for my daughter to wear when she swims outside….because let’s be honest, while absolutely necessary, sunscreen isn’t fun for anyone to put on. I can save a few tears by putting on a rashguard and only having to apply sunscreen on my daughter’s hands, legs and face.
I used the short sleeves in my version, but you could also use the tank, long sleeve or 3/4 sleeve. Cheyenne is on sale through tomorrow, Monday, May 25, at 10 p.m. EST.
