Tuesday Tips: Strawberry Popsicles

Tuesday Tips: Strawberry Popsicles

One of my favorite first signs of summer are when berries start showing up in grocery stores, farmer’s markets and fruit stands alongside the roads. As a family, we love going to the you-pick farms and picking our berries….or in Brylee’s case, eating our berries!

Today we’re going to share an easy recipe to make strawberry popsicles! This is a favorite summertime treat of Laura’s sweet girls, Mia and Megan.  Since we have TWO new patterns coming out on Thursday named after Megan and Mia, I thougt it was a great idea to let them pick out our first recipe. for our Tuesday Tips blog series. Let’s get started!

Prep time: 5 minutes

Freeze time: 3 hours

Ingredients:

-1 cup of water

-1/2 cup sugar

-20 strawberries

Mix all of the ingredients in a blender. The time you blend the ingredients depends on your preference of how smooth or chunky you want your popsicles. Pour the mix into ice cube trays or popsicle molds (or sneak a taste if you’re like me!). Freeze for three hours! Eek! Isn’t your mouth already drooling as you wait for then to freeze?!

Delicious, right?! You can kick you summer treat up a notch by putting your strawberry popsicles or ice cubes in a glass of homemade lemonade……wahla! Strawberry lemonade!

We hope you enjoy Megan and Mia’s favorite summertime treat! Don’t forget that the Megan and Mia patterns are releasing THURSDAY!! Here is a sneak peak of Mia wearing her Mia and Megan wearing her Megan!
