Beautiful Blithe Mash-Up!

This is definitely an Art Gallery Fabrics week at Simple Life Pattern Company! Katie shared her amazing Here Comes the Fun creations a couple days ago. Make sure you check them out here!

If you follow me at Sew and Tell Project, you will know that this week I participated in the Blithe Fabrics Blog Tour. It was a blast picking out and working with these gorgeous woven, knit, and canvas fabrics for the blog tour! Of course, I had to make something out of Simple Life Patterns but if you visit my post at Sew and Tell Project, you can also check out my canvas bag tutorial.

I am reposting one of my creations from the tour on the Simple Life Patterns blog in case you want to recreate this look with two of your favorite Simple Life Patterns!

Seriously, how come I’ve waited this long to make a Mia? I’ve always had my jaw-drop a little when beautiful Art Gallery Mia’s appear on my screen and in several AGF lookbooks, but since I make most of my children’s wardrobe, I prefer to stick to our knit patterns. The marriage of the Isla bodice with the Mia skirt allows me to get the best of both worlds : the knit, long-sleeved comfort our current weather demands, and the full, twirly, tiered-skirt that delights my sweet girl!

I am simply thrilled with the results of this mash experiment, and now my mind is brimming with mixing and matching several of my favorite SLPco patterns! Remember, many of our knit bodices work with woven skirts, so there is NO limit to creativity!

What SLPco Patterns have you mashed?
