Pattern Release: Cheyenne and Chloe
We are one sleep away from the release of the Simple Life Pattern Company’s newest patterns, Cheyenne’s Ultimate Ruffle T-shirt and Chloe’s Ruffle Leggings! Both patterns use knit fabrics to create a comfy and stylish outfit perfect for play or a nice outing! If you’re an advanced (or confident) beginner with a child in the sizes 2t to 12, this pattern is for you!
New to knit? Don’t worry!! Both patterns feature helpful tips and tricks to make sewing with knits a breeze! You learn about what type of knit to buy, the preferred needles for sewing knits, and which stitch to use on your sewing machine. The best part about knits is that they don’t fray, so it is not necessary to hem them, although that is an option explained in the patterns. You’ll find that sewing knits is much faster than sewing wovens! These patterns will help you jump in and discover a love for knits (if you haven’t already)!
Cheyenne’s Ultimate Ruffle T-shirt is LOADED with options! For the sleeves, you can make a tank, short sleeves, 3/4 sleeves and long sleeves. Around the neckline, you can add one or two ruffles, or leave the ruffles off for a simple shirt. The pattern also gives the option to add no ruffle, one ruffle, two ruffles, or a ruffle band (with or without additional ruffles) to the sleeves. Cheyenne features layered pattern pieces, cutting charts, fabric requirement chart, size chart, and finished length chart.
Chloe’s Ruffle Leggings are perfect for any season as you have the option to make shorties, capris or pants. Leave them plain for a simple look that’s great for layering with other Simple Life patterns, or add one, two or three ruffles with the option to also include ruffle bands. Chloe also features layered pattern pieces, cutting charts, fabric requirement chart, size chart, and finished length chart.
Chloe and Cheyenne are sure to become staples in your children’s wardrobe! With so many variations, no two pieces will look alike! My daughter gives these patterns an A+ for being both SUPER comfy and adorable!
