We can’t believe it has been an entire YEAR since the Simple Life Pattern Company was formed! We are so super proud of Katie Skoog, the owner and founder of SLPco. In one year, she along with SLPco’s two other designers Laura Scaramella and Ashley Herrmann have released 33 gorgeous patterns! What an accomplishment!
Now, it’s time to celebrate! We have amazing giveaways going on in the SLPco Fan Group and on Instagram at @SLPco. We even have our biggest giveaway ever at the bottom of this blog post. Stay tuned!

Baby Chloe’s Ruffle Leggings, Capris and Shorties

Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner
Chloe’s Ruffle Leggings are perfect for any season as you have the option to make shorties, capris or pants. Leave them plain for a simple look that’s great for layering with other Simple Life patterns, or add one, two or three ruffles with the option to also include ruffle bands.
Baby Cheyenne’s Ultimate Ruffle T-Shirt
Sizes NB-24 months
Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner
Cheyenne’s Ultimate Ruffle T-shirt is LOADED with options! For the sleeves, you can make a tank, short sleeves, 3/4 sleeves and long sleeves. Around the neckline, you can add one or two ruffles, or leave the ruffles off for a simple shirt. The pattern also gives the option to add no ruffle, one ruffle, two ruffles, or a ruffle band (with or without additional ruffles) to the sleeves
Baby Pepper’s Peekaboo Ruffle Skirt
Sizes NB-24 months
Difficulty Level: Beginner
This adorable skirt features a cute little pickup and bow to showcase the adorable ruffles. Elastic waist for the perfect fit. Ultimate twirl factor with this skirt! Great way to showcase your beautiful fabrics.

Need the perfect accessory for all those outfits you been making? Don’t throw your knit scraps away- make a Barb’s! Fast and easy, you can make on for every outfit in no time!

Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner
The fully lined blazer is reversible and has an optional ruffle trim detail along the front. Braxton’s features 3 sleeve lengths: 3/4, long and long with rolled cuffs to show off your cute lining fabric. There are 2 back openings to choose from as well, wide open back and a narrow “tulip” style back. It has an optional front button closure as well.

Cami’s is the perfect tank top to pair with leggings, shorts, jeans, skirts… everything. Need a quick tank for summer? Pajamas? Everyday play? To layer under a blazer or top? Cami’s sews up fast and is very comfy for everyday wear.

Featuring 4 different sleeves (tank style, short sleeve, puff pleated short sleeve & long sleeves), it can be your go-to pattern all year. This sweet wrap top is a true style wrap that ties at the hip in a cute bow (or opt for just a knot, if you are not into bows). Leah’s top was designed for woven fabrics but works very well in knit with no modifications.
Lexi’s Strappy Back Dress and Maxi
Sizes 2t – 12
Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner
Featuring a modest scooped V front and 3 straps on each shoulder, it is a perfect summer dress. Choose between simple skirt (for both dress and maxi versions) or you can choose to do the horizontal pleats at the bottom to really add some detail to the skirt portion (both dress and maxi versions). This dress also features side seam pockets, perfect for all those little treasures kids collect. The bodice is fitted and has one button (or snap) in the back.

Polly is short, just-above-knee length skirt pattern that is perfect for beginner sewists without looking like a beginner pattern. With a simple elastic waistband and a short drop waist, this skirt is perfect for layering with sweaters or pairing with a simple tee or tank. The skirt has two finish options, with a band or ruffle border along the drop waist, to personalize your look. Use the simple version to show off your favorite fabric, or the paneled version to clear out your scraps!

Tilly has three waistband options to choose from: woven waistband with elastic casings, knit yoga style waistband & a knit fold over waistband. Use your favorite woven print and make it super comfy with a yoga waistband, or opt for all woven or all knit. Tilly also features the option for a double layer skirt, which really creates a fantastic look.
