Layer Up with Lydia & Adelyn
Whenever anybody asks what my favorite knit dress from Simple Life pattern is, Adelyn is always at the top of the list! I’m so excited to show you how you can take that summer Adelyn dress and make it into a fall and winter dress by layering it with Lydia.
Layer up
The Lydia’ Ruffle Back Leotard is available with short, long, and ¾ length sleeves making it the perfect layering piece for fall and winter. I added the flutter sleeve from the Adelyn pattern to my leotard because Elsie loves all things ruffle (and in all honesty so do I). I made my Lydia using the deep back cutting line, but using the modest back would be great for layering as well. A feminine lace ribbon was perfect to make the ties for this leotard.
Multiple Uses
The fun thing about making layering pieces is that they can be used separate or together. This flower Adelyn is the perfect summer dress and Lydia is perfect for practicing our gymnastics.
