MARCH MONTHLY CHALLENGE: SPRING FEVER
Happy March! Spring is just around the corner and so are all of the adorable outfits that come with. This month we are focusing on some transitional pieces to help get you started on Spring and Summer sewing. I can’t wait to see what you create and I hope you join our #SLPcoChallenge.
For the month of March, our challenge theme is “Spring Fever”.
The Monthly Challenge
All month long we are featuring a select few patterns from our collection, which will be on sale for 30% off through the months end. If you decide to sew along with us, you can sew up one of the featured patterns and post a modeled or flat lay/mannequin photo in our fan group (or on instagram) with the hashtag #SLPcoChallenge for your chance to WIN a $20 credit!

The Patterns
SHELBY
Are you looking for that perfect spring and summer dress? We have you covered with the Shelby. This pattern features “built in” cap sleeves so you don’t have to even sew on sleeves but still get the shoulder coverage. Choose from a scoop or square neckline. The best part about Shelby is the gorgeous back options. With a deeper square back, you can add a single strap, double straps or even a criss cross strap, creating so many beautiful and unique looks. The adorable square side pockets echo the square back beautifully and is a great option to showcase an accent fabric. We have included a simple rectangle gathered skirt in top or dress length. We didn’t stop there. You can also choose the circle skirt in top or dress length for the ultimate twirl factor.
TINSLEY
The perfect pattern for spring and summer sewing, Tinsley’s Scalloped Top, Romper & Dress features super cute shoulder tie that lets just a little bit of the lining show through for the perfect contrast. Choose from a swing top, dress or romper. Choose scallop or simple hemline. This pattern also features a front button placket and optional slash pockets.
ELISE
Elise’s One Shoulder swimsuit can be sewn as a one piece or a tankini. Both versions can feature the optional flounce and skinny strap or be left as a simple single shoulder suit. The tankini also has an optional circle skirt for the ultimate girly swimsuit. Fully lined or partial lining. A shorten/lengthen line is included for the perfect fit and coverage you may want.
BRENDA
This top and dress features a very unique back. The beautIful bows really make the dress stand out. If you are not keen on bows, skip them for a strappy back look. Brenda now includes a modesty back panel for those who would like a little more back coverage. Brenda’s features 2 lengths, tunic and dress. You can choose from a simple gathered skirt, gathered skirt with accent strip and hem band or gathered skirt with accent strip and ruffle. It also has 4 sleeve lengths- sleeveless, short, 3/4 and long. This dress is perfect for special occasions and holidays or even just everyday wear. With no buttons or closures, this is a fairly fast / easy sew.
EMILYA
Emilya’s Skinny Pants, Capris & Bermuda shorts are the perfect skinnys for any child’s wardrobe. Featuring 3 lengths – bermuda shorts, capris and pants. The pattern features a flat front waistband with elastic back. Emilya also features an optional pleated cargo pocket with a bow accent on the flap as well as optional front pockets and adorable cuffs for all three lengths. These will be your go-to pattern for skinnys!
