Stitch Fix #32 review
So I decided to do something new…. blog about my Stitch Fix experiences. I know this has nothing to do with SLPco, in fact, most of us sew our own wardrobes but sometimes it is so nice to get a box full of pretties. I signed up for Stitch Fix about 2 years ago and I just got box #32 in the mail. I have them scheduled for every 2-3 weeks – sometimes I adjust my shipping time frame if I already purchased a lot of items in the last one or if I need one super fast for events. This was my latest fix style by Tiff. I loved this whole box, but I would rate it 3.5 out of 5. I LOVE that dress, but i just dont wear dresses so I am selling that one in the SF BST Facebook group. I like the blazer too, but that is something that I will only wear a few times a year. I am keeping it for now but I may put it for sale after a business trip in May. I am not going to get too detailed in these blog posts – more of a show and tell….. so here are my style cards and my IRL pics.
This 41 Hawthorne Dawney scallop trim blouse was my favorite. I love that scalloped sleeve detail. I am a large and sometimes I end up getting bigger flowy shirts, which are nice sometimes but I have been asking for slimmer silhouettes lately. This top fits so perfectly. Not too big and not too small. I can do all my daily routines in this comfortably. I paired this with Liverpool Abby dark denim skinny pants. I didn’t get them from SF, I bought those on Amazon and they are my most worn pair of jeans. The second picture has a pair of Liverpool capris that I got in my very first stitch fix box. I love the second look for summer.
And here is the Kensie Rebeka stretch crepe blazer. This is SO comfortable and soft. I normally feel restricted/ stiff in blazers but this one is very easy to move around it. I am not the biggest fan of the pale pink, its just not a good color on me, but I do have a few tops that I can wear with it. The lining is white with pale pink polka dots, which I think is fun.
I paired this beautiful 19 Cooper Nicole flutter sleeve wrap blouse with these Just Black Drake scissor hem skinnies. I also paired it with the Liverpool Abby skinnies I bought off amazon (told ya – i wear them all the time). I loved this top so much. There are a few drawbacks though. I am 5’7″ and I feel like this could have been about 2-3″ longer. Where this ties along my waistline, I feel like it always slides up, making me pull my shirt down all the time. I have no actual waistline though. My chest and waist measurement is the same so that could be why. There is a little snap to hold the top closed. Without that snap, this top would be booby-licious. When the stop slides up a bit, it creates a gaping in the bust area, so I almost feel like I should wear a tank under this, just in case. This is a silkier type top and I was worried that the ties wouldn’t stay tight all day, but that is not an issue. It stays put.
These pants fit so well. I have never had this brand before so naturally I was nervous. I feel like they are really slimming. They have a really good stretch to them and they didnt stretch out after a few hours of wearing them. They are really long though. I don’t care for the “scissor” hem. its just a raw edge, I prefer them to look finished so I will most likely be hemming these up to be the right length and have a nice hem.
This Kut from the Kloth Mollee dress is so adorable. If I had a reason to wear dresses more, I would totally keep this. The print is amazing, I love the colors and the fit. I have never worn a below the knee dress before but I actually like it. That little bit of rouching detail really makes this dress special .
okay, that is my fix. It was a 3.5 / 5 (the blazer only gets a .5). If I wore dresses, it would have been a 4.5. I am really excited about my new stylist Tiff. She actually checked out my Pinterest board and knew I wanted all the florals – hehe. Are you looking into trying Stitch Fix? Click here to sign up.
