Tallinn Fabrics Blog Tour
Hey everyone! I am super happy to finally share these outfits I made last fall! I made these for Jessica Swift’s debut collection for Art Gallery Fabrics. Quilt Market is always a fun time so when Jessica asked if I would sew some advanced yardage up – I was honored!
I knew the first thing I wanted to make was a romper. My daughter is a little older now but gosh – I sure do love seeing her in a romper. She LOVES this romper because of those adorable little side pockets. I had a small cut of the “Village adventure” fabric so I used that as the main part of the romper – I love how that turned out. I also used the blue sofia midnight and pink sofia sunrise for the pockets and bodice.
For the bodice, I used the Molly, one of my all time favorites and go-to patterns when I am in a pinch for time. Anyone else just loving this little romper? I will be getting a pattern out with these adorable side pockets soon, so keep an eye out.
Remember how I said I made these last fall? Well, they are a bit snug and short now – but that didn’t stop us from rocking this adorable Lucy dress. Lucy is a great spring/summer dress with an adorable racerback bodice. We had our very first warm day so even though everything is muddy, and patches of snow everywhere, we couldn’t wait to be outside to do some photos (okay – I bribed them with popsicles)….. hehe
For this dress I used the Sofia sunrise for the bodice and the super fun Zirkusbau Candy for the skirt.
And here is the reality of our photoshoots! haha – about 90% of the pictures I take are of them being goofy – so I of course have to throw one of those in just for fun. 🙂
