A Holiday Autumn dress

Hi! My name is Donnisha and I’m excited to be a new contributor for SLPco.  I am a mom of three girls currently living in Maryland.
I am super excited to share my holiday makes for my 2 youngest daughters. My girls are very active and the holidays are a time to run around with their cousins, so comfort is number one when it comes to outfits.

I chose the Baby Autumn for Sasha who is 20 months old. I fell in love with the ruffles and the classic shift shape. I went with fabric from Wolf and Rabbit, which is an organic euro Cotton Lyrca.

She looks so adorable, right?

Scarlet, my 9 year old is all about clothing she can flip and tumble in while wearing. Her favorite clothing choice is leggings. She would wear them everyday if possible.

Scarlet has outgrown the girl sizes for SLPco so we chose the Women’s Energize leggings and the Women’s Harper Dress in top length. The leggings I made out of a lovely 3×3 rib knit from Harrow Lane fabric company. They turned out perfect and look so classy.

The Harper top is made from a Bamboo French Terry from Mimi’s Custom Fabric Group. I loved the swing style of the top but wanted something different for the hem so I modified it to a high low hem and I must so it turned out just right. I nervous since I still consider myself a beginner sewer but I love it.

I am honored to be appearing along with many other talented makers for the SLPco Holiday Blog and can not wait for Thanksgiving to show off my makes to my extended family.
