Christmas Morning Pajamas

One of my favorite traditions I started with my kids was to give them a new pair of pajamas every Christmas. It started with the matching jammies from Carters. I would have them change into their pj’s before we left Nana’s house on Christmas Eve so they were ready for bed as soon as we got home. This ensures that the photos taken on Christmas morning look adorable – no ratty old mismatched pajamas … or lately my kids have been sleeping in their underwear!

I’ve gotten a little more creative over the years with handmade pajamas. Sometimes I pick their favorite characters, and sometimes they just coordinate. This year I went with the Michael Miller snowflake fabric – my 8 year old son has matching pajama bottoms in a green color.

The Patricia makes a fabulous pajama! This is the high-low option with bell sleeves – because, well, ruffles!. The fit is loose and very comfortable – with no buttons or zippers – is perfect for sleeping.

Check out the adorable pleat on the sleeve!

Luna sleep mask and Sloane socks were the perfect accessories.

The 5 year old was pretty excited to have permission to jump on my bed for these photos!
