25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS – DAY 4 River

On the fourth day of Christmas Simple Life Pattern Company and Art Gallery Fabrics gave to me a stunning tiered River dress that makes me want to squeal with glee.

Y’all. Run fast and grab your copy of River before the sale ends. This pattern is AH-mazing. I made the cropped tiered dress version and my oldest is already begging for more. They sew up super quick, are very trendy, and, most importantly, they are COMFY! I mean, look at that smile!

I used the AGF Christmas in the City collection again today (did you see yesterday’s Clara dress?) because I just can’t get enough of all the gorgeous prints. For the knit crop top and hood I used the buttery soft AGF knit in a pale pink with soft gold stars. For a stark contrast I used the woven vintage boulevard print set on a dark Christmasy green background.

That tiered skirt is just absolutely stunning and so worth all the ruffling.

To Achieve This Look:

A Holiday Craft

We attended a Christmas ornament making party last night with some friends and made these adorable little reindeer ornaments. Both of my girls really enjoyed stuffing the globe full of the crinkly brown paper and adding the little googly eyes. Hopefully your kids will love making these too!

A Holiday Treat

I was tasked with bringing a sweet treat to the Christmas party we went to last night. I made Magic Cookie Bars. My mom used to make these for us growing up so they are definitely a nostalgic treat to me. These little cookie bars are quick and easy to make and they were a hit at the party. Have you ever made these before?
