Fall Sewing Series: Bottoms
Hi yall! Becca here with day 3 of our Fall Sewing Series and today I’m sharing some of my favorite patterns for fall bottoms. I love sewing for fall…the rich colors, bold textures, and gorgeous florals. Seriously, how can it get any better than that! For school, my daughter has to wear a skirt or dress so when the weather begins to cool down it’s nice to be able to layer them with some adorable leggings as well. We have some adorable legging patterns I can’t wait to share with you but first let me show you a couple skirts that are a favorite in our house.
Tilly’s Circle Skirt is the perfect staple for your little one’s fall wardrobe. Tilly is a simple circle skirt with three waistband options. It can be made in woven and knit and has a double layer skirt option, which really creates a fantastic look. If hemming a circle skirt has you shaking your head no right now, don’t worry we have a great tutorial that makes it so easy.
Another favorite in our house is Mattie’s Scalloped Suspender Skirt, we especially love the removable suspenders and let’s not forget the pockets. I love pairing Mattie with the Helena’s Button Back Top.
Every fall wardrobe needs leggings and there are so many possibilities with Sarah Ann’s Cuff Leggings. The pattern includes a cuff ruffle, button tab, tab ruffle and/or a bow cuff.
The final pattern I have to share with you is Tiffany’s Bow & Ruffle Leggings. These adorable bow & ruffle leggings are perfect for pairing with all our tops & dresses. I love this Pearl and Tiffany pairing Katie sewed up.
Although I don’t get to use it enough, Emilya’s Skinny Pants are another favorite. Paired with a Ruby top and Braxton Blazer, this outfit is perfect for fall.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you found some inspiration for your little ones fall wardrobe. Come back tomorrow to see all of the gorgeous dresses Gail will be sharing!!
Happy Sewing!
